We are showcasing some of the spiciest dishes of India to banish winter blues 1-22 February
The spices in these dishes heat the body, from sesame seed, cloves, pepper and chillies, to garlic, ginger and star anise, based on India’s vast understanding of spices
These dishes are well balanced with unique flavours & recipes - unlike the chilli blasts in the conventional UK curry houses.
Our Some Like It Hot menu comprises:
- Saoji Lamb Curry: from Vidarbha, the star dish of the region & arguably the hottest curry in India.
- Andra Chilli Chicken Curry: from Andhra/Telangana, the largest chilli producing states in India.
- Kerala Fish Curry: From the foodie Syrian Christian community, using Kokum (a special souring ingredient), red chillies & all the heating spices.
- Hyderabadi Mirch Baigan Ka Salan: Aubergines braised with whole chillies in a sesame-based sauce.
